Watercolor Circles

Designed for the Pals Paper Arts #206, the challenge was switched up a bit with Island Indigo and Daffodil Delight colors. I punched a circle in transparency paper to use it as a stencil, then filled in the top three circles with an Aqua Painter Pen and refill ink.

Three stamps from the Work of Art stamp set were used on the banner, one to put the color on the left edge and two sayings. I sponged some color around the border to make it stand out, and finished the card off with some thick baker’s twine.

This card reminds of a fabulous children’s book Press Here which instructs the reader to press, tap, or rub watercolor circles such as these to interact with the book and use the imagination.
